About the Firm
In the years since Walter S. McLin and R. Dewey Burnsed first began practicing law in Leesburg, Florida, in the 1960's, our Firm has represented many of the people and businesses that have shaped North Central Florida. Today our Firm provides legal services in a variety of practice areas to meet the diverse needs of businesses and individuals in our community.
McLin Burnsed has served as General Counsel for the City of Leesburg for more than 35 years and Lake County's School Board for over 30 years. Our attorneys have served on the governing boards of many other major financial, educational, healthcare and civic institutions. Since 1985, we have represented The Villages®, the nation's largest single-site real estate development.

Our attorneys donate their time to and have served on the boards of organizations like the Boys and Girls Club of Lake & Sumter Counties, Habitat for Humanity and Hospice of Lake and Sumter Counties.
